Fall 2023 Update

Thank you to all who have made our 2023 season such a pleasure. We look forward to seeing everyone again next year. We’ll be back on the Capitol Square for the Saturday Dane County Farmers’ Market starting with nursery stock in April, followed by summer vegetables. Beginning in mid-August, we’ll have early apples, plums, peaches and pears, with Concord and other grapes soon to follow. From mid-August until late Fall, as our many varieties of apples ripen, we’ll also be at the Monroe Street Sunday market (at Edgewood College).

Feel free to contact us with any questions: 608-445-2067 or morrenhenry@yahoo.com.

Antique and popular apple, plum and pear varieties, farm-pressed cider, live vinegar, Concord grapes & more.

All from our orchard just 30 miles south of Madison

About Morren Orchard and Nursery

We planted our orchard in 1999 on fallow land being used as a horse pasture. Henry, a fourth-generation fruit-grower originally from western Michigan, practices sustainable small-scale agriculture with far less spraying than commercial conventional growers. Our carefully tended orchard and licensed nursery features antique and other apple trees as well as plum, pear and peach trees. Our cultivation of traditional French and English cider and dessert apples allows us to specialize in both cider and fresh-eating varieties—see complete list of apples within. We also feature an unusually diverse selection of plum trees, with fruit ideal for baking and fresh eating. Using organic methods, we grow delicious Concord grapes, blueberries, pink and red currants, and a select range of French and other melons.
